Online sales terms and conditions Brunschwig & Cie SA (hereafter referred to as: Bongénie Grieder)

The Bongénie Grieder | online shop e-boutique is a virtual subsidiary of Brunschwig & Cie SA | shop online | 3-5, chemin de la Marbrerie | CH-1227 Carouge GE (hereafter referred to as BG or BG online shop).


The online shop carries the same product lines as those available in our stores. However additional items can be distributed by Bongénie Grieder exclusively online.

Our products are in perfect condition as they are quality controlled upon reception and tagged. Should this security tag be removed, items may no longer be returned.

Delivery packages are eco-friendly and have been specially designed for our online shop. They are mainly composed of recycled materials.

All orders, deliveries, returns and services provided by our online shop are bound by Bongénie Grieder's e-boutique sales terms and conditions applicable on the date order is placed.


In order to purchase items presented in our e-boutique, the client (hereafter referred to as « the customer ») must fill out the corresponding online form and submit it to Bongénie Grieder. 

The online shop will provide an e-mail confirmation for each order.

Thank you for closely following the instructions found on our e-boutique homepage. The customer must add the item (by selecting the appropriate size) to his/her « Cart » once the shipping fees (if applicable), terms and conditions, statement on data confidentiality and provisions for rights of withdrawal have been accepted, the customer can select a payment method and click on « Send order ». Upon receiving a confirmation e-mail, the order is deemed valid.

Items availability
If your order is made of several items, we will group them in one parcel. However, despite all the precautions we take to have the most accurate information about the availability of the items we sell, it can happen that one or several of them, claimed available when your order is placed is finally unavailable. In this case, we will contact you as soon as possible. In the case of permanent unavailability of one or several items that your ordered, we would be obliged to proceed to the partial or total cancellation of your order.


The customer can either register each time an order is placed (by entering the shipping address, etc.) or create a profile that can be edited/deleted at any time.

Only those who have completed full registration and provided accurate information will be able to make purchases on It is strictly forbidden to use this website as a professional or commercial platform, used in reselling the items to third party buyers. Should this occur, the customer faces immediate exclusion and being sued for compensatory damages by Bongénie Grieder. Exceptionally, Bongénie Grieder reserves the right to limit order quantities per product and per customer.

The registration process serves exclusively to record billing and shipping addresses. The information held is protected through the regulations on data protection (see XI hereafter).


Prices displayed in our online shop include the VAT. This is also applicable to our red tag prices (discounted items). In Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Bongénie Grieder bears the costs of packaging and shipping. All exceptions are formally stated.


Our prices are displayed and charged in Swiss Francs.


Our customers can purchase their items by credit card. Bongénie Grieder accepts the following credit card providers:

6. Postcard

Specific information related to the payment process is provided while placing the order.

The transaction will be requested from the credit institution only when the cardholder information has been verified, the payment withdrawal approved by the credit card provider and the order confirmed by Bongénie Grieder.

Datatrans AG is the service provider for all credit card and Postcard transactions.

The information is scrambled and transferred to Datatrans AG for processing.



Bongénie Grieder offers its customers the possibility of payment on a billing basis (after solvency assessment and for an amount inferior or equal to 1000 CHF). The bill is sent out to the customer with the order and must be paid within a 10 day period from the billing date. The banking information and necessary transaction slips pertaining to the creditor account are included in the delivery package.

To rate customer solvency, we must retrieve information from third party databases (organizations such as collection agencies). While placing the order, the customer must state his or her agreement as to our access to this information. Should a customer not be deemed as solvent, payment will only be allowed through credit card transactions.


In the event of delayed payment, Bongénie Grieder reserves the right to withhold from processing new orders and to bill the customer for fees related to formal notice. Bongénie Grieder may require the return of all or part of the goods, whereas related shipping charges will also be charged to the customer. Upon the third formal notice requiring payment, purchases through the billing process will be barred and legal action may be taken against the customer.


Should Bongénie Grieder have to take legal action against a customer for default in paying, his or her right to use the billing process for payment will be permanently revoked. Bongénie Grieder also reserves the right to freeze the accounts held within Bongénie Grieder stores by any customer who fails to clear his/her debts despite repeated reminders. Any possible renewed registration using either incorrect or false information would fall within Articles 146 and 147 of the Swiss penal code as swindling and fraudulent use of a computer. Bongénie Grieder is entitled to cancel or suspend an order if: (a) customer solvency is rejected or doubtful; (b) the customer is subject to more than one debt collection claim; or (c) should any dishonest intent be justifiably suspected.  


All items ordered remain within ownership of Bongénie Grieder until they are paid in full. In case of payment default and notwithstanding their previous delivery to the customer, Bongénie Grieder can reclaim the return of the corresponding products in their original condition. Bongénie Grieder reserves the right to bring legal action for compensatory damages.


Bongénie Grieder ships ordered goods to Switzerland and Liechtenstein exclusively. Due to legal reasons and until further notice, orders placed for countries beyond these areas cannot be processed. Delivery within one week following the date of the order. Delivery delays may not give rise to any claims for compensatory damages. Shipping costs (see III hereabove) for Switzerland and Liechtenstein will be borne by BG (« franco domicile delivery»).



Any item that has not been worn can be returned within 10 days.

We do not accept returns of perfumes.

In store return (new): we accept returns of products bought on our Shop Online in any Bongénie-Grieder store. In store returns are free of charge. Customers must provide the original invoice to be eligible for return.

Return by Poste: When shipping the products back to Bongénie Grieder, please use the original package and provided return forms carefully filled out with your name and address in the requested fields.

The customer must provide the original invoice to be eligible for return.

The authorized term for returns is applicable as of the customer's reception of the products. 

All returned items must be in their original condition and neither have been worn nor washed and without any tags removed. They must also be shipped back in their original packaging. Failing which, Bongénie Grieder is entitled to refuse to take them back and/or may claim for damages.   

Some garments bear an additional Bongénie Grieder white seal logo, which is also to be considered as a security tag not to be removed.


Shoes must be returned to us unworn and in perfect condition as well and in their original packaging (shoebox) which may not serve asthe final shipping package. 


In store returns are free of charge.

Costs pertaining to shipping goods back are borne by the customer.

The return address is stated on the provided return form.

In store return: Credit cards cannot be refunded. The refund will be made either by gift card or in cash

Return by Poste: Credit notes received for (paid) returned goods are issued on the customer's Bongénie Grieder account and may not be used or traded for cash in our stores. 

Orders paid for using credit cards can, should the customer prefer, be directly credited back on the card. In such cases, the exchange rate may be different from the initial one, due to fluctuations.


BG online boutique offers an array of premium and luxury designer products. We guarantee the authenticity of all products sold in our online shop. Our product lines boast the highest level of quality of fabrics, designs and finishing.

All items are made within supplier factories or designer workshops.

Products made available in our online boutique are merchandised using digital picture representations of actual items. Minor differences may exist through this process, however this cannot be considered in any way as a product imperfection.


Data protection is part of our customer's right to confidentiality; we place great importance on this issue and therefore only retain the information that is essential to our customer care and service. We work by the e-commerce code of ethics issued by the ASVPC (Swiss association for e-commerce trade). 


When creating an account, we ask our customers to provide their personal information such as their gender, first and last names, their e-mail address, language for correspondence, their date of birth, postal address and phone number. Fields marked with a star are mandatory for processing orders. Without this information, BG cannot complete the orders.   The remaining data is used to build customer profiles and BG refers to it for statistical purposes only.

None of the information is communicated to a third party, with the exception of our service providing partners who require the relative data to process the orders, payments, shipments, credit rating inquiries or statistical analysis only.   They do not have any rights as to using the data in their own interest. Information flow is therefore reduced to a minimum.


Bongénie Grieder makes use of persistent cookies. Their purpose is simply to register customer transactions, enhance further visits on our website and future orders by allowing us to adjust our offer to his or her preferences. You can authorize cookies from the security parameters found in your browser options. 


Bongénie Grieder uses Google Analytics to draft anonymous reports on BG online boutique user activity. Google Analytics is a tool used only for internal market analysis as we look to adapt our website services to our customer needs. 


Any personal information recorded on our website (address, purchases) are processed with stringent confidentiality guidelines. Our customers can easily edit or delete this information anytime they choose along with their login, account or address via:

We reserve the right to modify the above sales terms and conditions – of which the last applicable update is always displayed. Version 2: 10/28/2013. 

Conditions pertaining to the use of our website are subject to Swiss regulatory provisions and their meaning is to be determined in compliance with Swiss law.



Swiss law is appicable to the above sales terms and conditions as well as to any related process or transaction. 


In case of a dispute and should the customer be the defendant, the judicial authorities at his/her domicile shall have jurisdiction. Should the customer be the plaintiff, he or she can chose to bring legal action either before the Geneva courts as the jurisdiction of Brunschwig & Cie SA's headquarters, or before the Zürich courts sa the jurisdiction of Brunschwig & Cie SA' subsidiary.
